Under the fan is my search for an idea of an ‘ideal family’ - a family made up of animals, trees, insects, humans, each playing their part in this madness of living as a family on this planet, day after day, till the end of time - as I travel and make my way into people’s homes that live such different lives from each other. They are a universe in itself and each parallel to the other; a universe that is filled with stories I wish I had belonged to at different times. Discovering these families is how I am living a childhood adventure of imagining a thousand lives under the fan.
